Multi-line and Scheduler

8

Multi-line Dialer: Set the number of phone numbers that will be used simultaneously for outbound calling. This setting works in tandem with the "Route Calls" field. For example, if you set the Multi-line Dialer to 10, you must provide 10 phone numbers in the "Route Calls" field. This allows the Power Dialer to distribute calls across multiple lines, enabling concurrent outbound calling for increased efficiency. Schedule: Specify the campaign's start time or begin the Power Dialer immediately upon modal completion.

Missed calls

A Missed Call in the context of the Power Dialer refers to a situation where the outbound call is not answered by the recipient. This can happen due to various reasons, such as the recipient being unavailable, the call going to voicemail, or the recipient declining the call. When a call is missed, the Power Dialer provides flexible options to handle these situations effectively. The system can automatically perform one or a combination of the following actions: 1. Sending SMS: Predefined text messages about the missed call's purpose and how to follow up. 2. Sending MMS: Including multimedia content like images or videos with text messages. 3. Leaving Voicemail: Customized messages with call-back details. 4. Sending Email: Including missed call information and additional instructions. The Power Dialer allows you to choose one or a combination of these actions to handle missed calls effectively. For example, you can configure the system to send an SMS and an email simultaneously when a call is missed, increasing the chances of reaching the recipient and providing them with the necessary information. By leveraging these missed call handling options, you can ensure that even if a call is not answered, you have alternative means of communication to engage with the recipient, provide them with relevant information, and encourage them to follow up or take the desired action.

Case Use: SolarBright

The primary use of the Power Dialer is for multi-line dialing, which can be applied to almost any vertical. We will explore all the functions involved in setting up a multi-line campaign for a fictional solar company.

SolarBright is a solar company that generates leads through online forms on their website. They have a team of 20 part-time appointment setters who work from their own homes using their personal cell phones. To efficiently manage the lead follow-up process, SolarBright utilizes the Power Dialer feature in their SMS-iT CRM system.

Group and From Number

Let's walk through setting up a daily call center campaign with SolarBright sales manager Judy.

Missed Calls

20

Judy configures Missed Calls (due to recipient unavailability, voicemail, or call decline) to trigger an SMS text and an email notification. Additionally, she configures the triggers to Abort if the call is answered. The Email From address is predetermined in the email settings and cannot be altered due to compliance regulations.

Choose Priority and Dial Option

21

Judy arranges the calling list in Choose Priority in ascending order. She selects "Double" for the Dial Option, indicating each call will be attempted twice. For the Time Delay, she sets it to 24 hours, ensuring missed calls are retried the following day at the same time if not received initially.
