Lead Management

SMS-iT's Lead Management feature empowers you to efficiently import, verify, and organize your leads from various sources. By streamlining your lead management process, you can focus on nurturing relationships and driving conversions. Unlock the full potential of your lead generation efforts with SMS-iT and watch your business grow.

Click on "Sales"

Click on "Lead Management"

Create new list

To start importing leads, you'll need to create a new list.

Click on "Create new list"

Give your new list a name and click on the "Save" button.

Select import method

Groups

You can import leads from existing contacts in the system by selecting a group.

Select a group.

If you prefer a different import method, click on the "choose another method" arrow to explore other options.

Tags

To import leads based on tags, click on the "Tags" option.

Choose the desired tags from the dropdown menu to filter and import the corresponding leads.

Manual email input

For manual lead input, click on the "Emails Manually" option.

When adding emails manually, use one of the two formats shown, with one email address per line.

Google Sheets

To import leads from a Google Sheets document, click on the "Google Sheets" option.

Paste the link to your Google Sheets document. Ensure that the sheet is set to public access for the import to work.

CSV

To import leads from a CSV file, click on the "CSV" option.

Click on the "click to Upload" button to select your CSV file.

Choose the CSV file from your source drive, such as your local hard drive or cloud storage.

After uploading the CSV, map the columns to the appropriate fields, such as First Name and Last Name. If your CSV has the first and last names in the same column, you can upload them as "Account Name." For better organization, consider separating the names in your spreadsheet before importing. Proceed with mapping the remaining columns to the corresponding fields in SMS-iT.

SMS-iT allows you to populate most social media channels. Custom fields are also available for special cases.

Continue selecting the appropriate fields for each column in your CSV file.

Verify emails and numbers

SMS-iT offers the option to verify the imported email addresses for accuracy. To initiate email verification, click on the designated button or link.

In addition to email verification, SMS-iT offers number lookup to verify mobile numbers and landlines, providing you with valuable carrier information for your leads

Add to a group

You can organize your imported leads by placing them in a new or existing group within SMS-iT.

After mapping your data and selecting the desired import options, click on "Add Group (Optional)" to assign the leads to a group.

Choose the desired group from the pulldown menu and click "Save" to confirm.

Once you have selected all the necessary options and mapped your data, click on "Upload All" to import the leads into SMS-iT.

All your contacts have been successfully uploaded to SMS-iT.

Adding more leads, deleting leads, deleting list

To delete individual leads, select one or more contacts from the list.

Or delete the entire list.

To add more leads to your list, click on the "Add Leads" button.

Add your new leads.

Customize your lead view by selecting the columns you would like to display.

All statuses" dropdown menu to filter leads by Hot Leads, Cold Leads, Invalid Leads, or Valid Leads.

Step-by-Step Instructions: Navigate to the "Sales" tab and click on "Lead Management." Create a new list and give it a name. Select your preferred import method: Groups, Tags, Manual Email Input, Google Sheets, or CSV. Map the data columns to the appropriate fields in SMS-iT. Choose to verify email addresses for improved accuracy. Optionally, assign the imported leads to a new or existing group. Click on "Upload All" to import the leads into SMS-iT. Manage your leads by adding more, deleting individual contacts, or deleting the entire list. Customize your lead view and filter leads by status. Important Notes:

Ensure that Google Sheets documents are set to public access for a successful import. Consider separating first and last names in your CSV file for better organization. Verify email addresses to maintain high-quality leads.
