Smart Dialer

The Smart Dialer is a versatile call management tool within the SMS-iT CRM platform. It streamlines the process of making and receiving calls by providing a user-friendly interface with intelligent features. With the Smart Dialer, you can quickly search for contacts, either by selecting a predefined group or by entering a name or number. Once the desired contact is found, initiating a call is as simple as clicking the call button or entering the contact's number on the built-in dial pad. The Smart Dialer also integrates with other SMS-iT CRM features, such as Missed Call Messaging, Power Dialer, and Customer Connect, to provide a comprehensive solution for handling inbound and outbound calls efficiently.

To use the Smart Dialer:

1. Select the phone number you want to call from the dropdown menu in the top left corner. This menu contains the numbers available in your SMS-iT CRM account. 2. If you have a large number of contacts, you can narrow down the list by either: a) Choosing a group from the Select Group dropdown menu. This will limit the contacts shown to only those belonging to the selected group. b) Typing a name or number in the Search field. As you type, the list of contacts will dynamically filter to only display matching results.

To use the **Smart Dialer**:

**1.** Select the phone number you want to call from the dropdown menu in the top left corner. This menu contains the numbers available in your SMS-iT CRM account.
**2.** If you have a large number of contacts, you can narrow down the list by either:
a) Choosing a group from the **Select Group** dropdown menu. This will limit the contacts shown to only those belonging to the selected group.
b) Typing a name or number in the **Search** field. As you type, the list of contacts will dynamically filter to only display matching results.

3. Once you've located the contact you want to call in the filtered list, click on their name to populate their details on the right side of the interface. 4. The contact's phone number will be displayed prominently at the top, in this example: 12223334444. 5. To initiate the call, either: a) Click the green call button on the dial pad. b) Manually enter the contact's extension number using the dial pad interface

**3.** Once you've located the contact you want to call in the filtered list, click on their name to populate their details on the right side of the interface.
**4.** The contact's phone number will be displayed prominently at the top, in this example: 12223334444.
**5.** To initiate the call, either:
a) Click the green call button on the dial pad.
b) Manually enter the contact's extension number using the dial pad interface

The key points are to first select the correct contact, either by filtering the list by group, searching by name/number, or choosing from the dropdown menu. Then you can easily call them by clicking the call button or using the dial pad to enter their assigned extension. The dial pad provides a quick way to call frequent contacts without having to search for them each time.

3. Customer Connect Advanced: Extends Customer Connect with options for handling calls outside business hours, such as different routing rules or voicemail.

4. Power Dialer: Automated outbound calling system that dials a list of numbers and connects answered calls to available agents, useful for sales or outreach.

5. Add New Contact: Standard feature to input new customer contact details into the CRM database for future interactions and follow-ups.
