Slack Connect
Navigate to https://aicpanel.smsit.ai
Click on "Quick Links"
Click on "Smart Inbox"
Click on "Slack"
Click on "Next"
Create App in Slack
Navigate to https://app.slack.com and sign into your account. In the same browser go to https://api.slack.com this will get you into the developer portal.
You should be in https://api.slack.com Click on "Create your first app" or "Manage your apps" if you've already created an app.
Click on "From Scratch"
Name you app in the "App Name" field.
Select a workspace from your slack community.
Click on "Create App"
Client ID and Client Secret ID
Scroll down.
Copy "Client ID"
Paste into "Slack App ID"
Click on "Show" to retrieve Client Secret.
Copy "Client Secret"
Paste into "Slack App Secret"
Install redirect URL.
Click on "OAuth & Permissions"
Click on "Add New Redirect URL"
Paste: https://aicpanel.smsit.ai/slack/signin into "Redirect URLs" and click on "Add".
Click on "Save URLs"
Task completed.
Add User Scopes
Scroll down to "Scopes"
From the pull-down menu add: Channels:history Channels:manage Channels:read Chat:write Chat:write.public Groups:history Groups:read Incoming-webhook Mpim:history Mpim:write
These are the scopes you'll need to add: Channels:history Channels:manage Channels:read Chat:write Chat:write.public Groups:history Groups:read Incoming-webhook Mpim:history Mpim:write
You'll add them one by one.
Task completed.
Add events
Scroll up.
Click on "Event Subscriptions"
Click to "ON"
Paste: https://aicpanel.smsit.ai/slack/events into the "Request URL" field.
Click on "Change"
Wait to see "Verified"
Task completed.
Sign into Slack from the SMS-iT platform.
Click this image
Click on "Content and info about you"
Click on "Info"
Click on "Allow"
Check settings
Please refresh the SMS-iT platform before checking the settings. Either refresh from the browser or Ctrl + F5.
Click on "Inbox"
Slack added.
